Careers in Family and Consumer Sciences Education
The family and consumer sciences education program prepares students for certification as a family and consumer sciences teacher as well as for employment with Texas Agrilife Extension Service and other education agencies. Graduates also may be employed in business settings such as retail establishments, newspaper organizations and magazine publishing. Career possibilities include:
