The Honors College is open to all Texas A&M University-Kingsville students who meet the academic requirements.
To Join the Honors College:
Incoming Freshmen:
- Minimum ACT of 24 or SAT of 1100 (verbal/math)
Current and Transfer Students:
- Minimum GPA of 3.5
Brief Overview of the Honors College Requirements
Once a member of the Honors College at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, students take a required number of Honors credits, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.25, and complete a Senior thesis/project. (For detailed information on the Honors College Requirements, please see the Current Students section of our website.)
Incoming New Honors College Students
Thinking of applying to the Honors College? We have a rolling application process. As soon as all your documents are received, the application will be reviewed. We need the file completed at least one month before the Hoggie Days orientation you plan to attend. Those meeting this deadline and accepted into the Honors College will be able to register for Honors courses during the Hoggie Days orientation.
