Student Resources FAQ


  • Where is the Business Office located?
    • The Business Office is located in College Hall across from the Grants Office.
  • What is the Business Office's phone number?
  • What are the operational hours of the Business Office?
    • The Business Office is open every day Monday-Friday from 8am until 5pm.
  • What time can I go in to make a payment?
    • Effective May 18, 2020, the Business Office, located in College Hall Room 104, will no longer accept student cash or debit/credit card payments in person or over the phone.  We can, however, continue to accept in-person payments made using money orders, cashier’s checks and 3rd  party scholarship checks between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Monday through Friday.  Make checks payable to TAMUK and include a Banner ID number (K00XXXXXX).

  • Where can I purchase a parking permit?
    • You will need your K00#, ku#, vehicle information, and driver's license. If you need your ku# you can contact the ITS Help Desk.
        • Go to www.tamuk.edu
        • At the top right click JNET
        • Log on using your Username: ku# (ex: kuxy0000)
        • Select the second gray tab titled CAMPUS RESOURCES
        • Click PARKING SPOT (when you scroll down it will be on the left)
        • Click REQUEST A PARKING PERMIT
        • Your parking permit will be available for pick up at the TAMUK Business Office

*If this is your first time purchasing a parking permit or if you are adding a vehicle you will need your driver's license and vehicle information.

Live on campus: Blue

Live off campus: Yellow

Faculty/Staff: Red

  • Where do I pay my tickets?

  • Where can I see the holds on my account?
    • Log onto Blue & Gold
    • Click on the category "Student and Financial Aid". A new page will open.
    • Click on "Student Records"
    • Then click on "View Holds". A list of your holds will be displayed.
  • Why do I have a hold?
    • Holds can be put on for various reasons from academic to financial. You may contact your advisor or a Business Office representative for further details to your specific hold. (You may also visit Business Office Holds for more information)

  • Where can I find the amount of my refund?
    • Log on to Blue & Gold
    • Click the category "Money Connect Login"
    • If the Current Account Status or eBill Amount Due shows a NEGATIVE DOLLAR AMOUNT, this will be your potential refund pending review.
*Refunds are initiated every Tuesday and Thursday and submitted to BankMobile the following business day for processing. If you are expecting a refund, be sure to select your refund preference on Bank Mobile.  Once you have established a refund preference, any changes will need to be made directly with BankMobile. You may contact them at 1-877-327-9515. Visit the Business Office, email moneyconnect@tamuk.edu or call 361-593-2616 if you have any questions.

  • When do I pay my tuition and fees?
    • Your payment must be received in the Business Office by the fee payment deadline of the semester you are registering for. Failure to pay tuition and fees by the deadline will result in additional charges and/or being potentially dropped from your course(s). Please refer to the Academic Calendar or Important Dates for more information on deadline dates.
  • How do I pay my tuition and fees?
    • Accepted payment methods include: check, money order, and credit card (MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Visa only).
  • Where can I see how much money I owe?
    • Log on to Blue & Gold
    • Click on "MoneyConnect Login" The amount of tuition owed will appear on the home screen. 
  • Where do I pay my tuition and fees?
    • Online. 
        • Log on to Blue & Gold
        • Select MoneyConnect Login menu link

*Be sure to select the correct semester for which you owe the balance. There is no extra charge for payments made by electronic check or debit card. There is a process fee of 2.5% for credit card payments.

  • How do I make a payment plan?
    • They are available through MoneyConnect under "Payment Plans". For more information visit Student Payment Plans.

  • Where do I mail my check?
    • Office of Finance and Budget
