Emergency Leave of Absence

In the event of the death of a member of an employee's immediate family three days emergency may be granted with full pay. Immediate family shall include an employee or spouse’s, child, parent, brother, sister, grandparent or grandchild. If travel requires more than three days of emergency leave, the employee may take the additional time as vacation or as leave of absence without pay.
