Emergency Closings
At times, emergencies such as severe weather or power failures can disrupt University operations. In extreme cases, these circumstances may require the closing of work facilities. In the event such an emergency occurs, the decision to close remains with the President of the University who will coordinate the closing through the Safety Program Manager.
When operations are officially closed due to emergency conditions, the time off from scheduled work will be paid.
