Conflict of Interest
All Texas A&M University-Kingsville full-time, budgeted employees who work at a secondary job must request and receive approval for outside employment on an annual basis. The goal of the policy is to insure work outside of the University be reasonable in amount, avoid unfair competition with private enterprise, be conducted at no expense to the Texas A&M University-Kingsville and not interfere with the employee's work assignments.
The policy includes any job outside the Texas A&M University-Kingsville position, regardless of the nature of work or its duration. Employees considering work outside Texas A&M University-Kingsville should review Texas A&M University SAGO Policy 31.05.02. This policy is available through your supervisor.
