Catalog of Courses

The catalog is the official bulletin of the University in which are published the record of the year closing, announcements for the next two years and official regulations which will be in effect for the next two years.

The Faculty Senate website has information on faculty committees, a calendar of events, the faculty constitution, a directory of senators, and the complete faculty handbook, all online!

An electronic newsletter and source of information for campus. Faculty, staff and students are automatically subscribed to this weekly e-mail newsletter.

Child Care

The Texas A&M University-Kingsville Center for Young Children (CYC) provides a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of young children while responding to the needs of families. Visit the CYC site for more information on enrolling children in the day and night programs.

TAMUK Intranet

The OIR Homepage hosts a section referred to as the TAMUK IntraNet. The TAMUK IntraNet is presently used to distribute class lists and recruitment information as well as enrollment trends and analysis.

South Texas Consortium for Institutional Research

The South Texas Consortium for Institutional Research (STCIR) is a regional group of Institutional Research and Planning professionals who meet quarterly and keep in contact, as needed, for the purpose of mutual support and professional development. Within this forum, STCIR members share their institution's student data and information, new/innovative IR methods and information technologies, success and challenges, and the general interchange of ideas on areas of common interest.

Council for Assessment and Planning

The Council for Assessment and Planning (CAP) facilitates the university’s continuous process of assessment and planning which occurs at all academic and administrative levels. CAP monitors assessment activities and acts as a conduit for the flow of information to the campus community. Results of the assessment process are the basis for university budgetary decisions.
