Public Astronomy Viewing- Moon, Neptune and Uranus

The public is invited to the final public astronomy viewing of the fall semester at the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Observatory at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 1.

The free viewing is in the Observatory, on the third floor of Hill Hall, located east of the Memorial Student Union Building. Parking is available in the lot next to Jones Auditorium and Manning Hall, on the corner of Santa Gertrudis and Armstrong, and along Santa Gertrudis.

Weather permitting, featured objects for this viewing will include the Moon, Uranus, Neptune and the double star Albiera.   

In the event of poor viewing conditions or inclement weather, there will be a video screened downstairs in Hill Hall.
