Building a business plan is subject of next seminar

The next in the series of business seminars sponsored by the College of Business Administration at Texas A&M University-Kingsville will feature Ralph Coker, former plant manager at Coastal Refinery, who will talk about How to Build a Business Plan for a New Business from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, in room 218 of the Business Administration Building.

Coker has 45 years’ experience in the petroleum refining industry starting with Texaco Inc. and Coastal Corp. and rising from engineer to plant manager at Coastal Refinery in Corpus Christi. He is past chair of the Port Industries of Corpus Christi.

He has 22 years of active military reserve service starting as a private and rising to lieutenant colonel.

Coker presently serves as co-chair of the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce Infrastructure Committee and is Nueces County representative on the Texas Department of Transportation I-69 Sector Committee. He is past SCORE district director for South Texas and past chair of the local chapter of SCORE.
