National Night Out

The University Police Department at Texas A&M University-Kingsville will host National Night Out from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, in the parking lot of Javelina Stadium located at the corner of Armstrong and Corral Streets.

 National Night Out combines free education and fun into a big night for children and their parents. Children will receive information on Stranger Danger, how to say no and other safety tips. There also will be fun and games for children of all ages.

A D.J. will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a performance from the Ballet Folklorico at 6:30 p.m. Grupo Vizzion will play at 7:30 p.m. and Lazaro Perez will begin at 9 p.m.

Participating agencies include the University Police Department, Kingsville Police Department, Kingsville Fire Department, Kleberg County Sheriff’s office, Kleberg County Volunteer Fire Department, the United States Border Patrol, Kingsville Specialized Crimes and Narcotics Task Force, Texas Department of Public Safety and others.
