8:00 - 8:30 a.m. Check-in and Continental Breakfast Student Union Building
Join us for continental breakfast and music from one of our talented student musical groups. Our Jazz Combo has performed at previous Javelina Preview Days and always gets rave reviews!
8:30 - 9 a.m. Welcome, Program Overview and Highlights of Texas A&M-Kingsville
You'll have the opportunity to hear from our student leaders as well as some of our university administrators who'll share with you all of the exciting opportunities that await you here at Texas A&M-Kingsville.
9:15 - 10:00 a.m. Academic Sessions
You'll join other future Javelinas with similar interests at our academic sessions. You will have the opportunity to visit an academic session and meet faculty and staff as they showcase their programs and facilities.
10:15 - 11:30 a.m. Student Panel
This is your opportunity to find out exactly what life as a Javelina is like from our current students. They will be able to answer any questions you may have such as on campus activities, living on campus, meeting new people, etc.
10:15- 11:30 a.m. Student Services/Student Activities Fair
We have so many exciting student clubs and organizations to get involved in, as well as student support services that are available to you when you are a student here. You'll have a chance to visit with current students and staff as they showcase all that they have to offer.
11:30 - 1 p.m. Campus Tours
Our current students will show you around our beautiful campus, pointing out the buildings and places that make our university your home away from home.
11:30 - 12:15 & 12:15 - 1 p.m. Lunch
Join us back in the Student Union Building for a bar-b-que lunch, served Javelina-style.
1 - 2:50 p.m. Information Sessions
Ready to become a Javelina? At these sessions, you'll meet with staff from our Admissions, Financial Aid & Residence Life offices as they explain the application process, paying for your education and on campus housing.
1 - 2:50 p.m. Residence Life Tours
Living on campus provides you with many opportunities and experiences. Come check out our residence halls and meet with residence life staff as they share the benefits of living on campus. Tours will depart every 15 minutes from the mall area of the Student Union Building.
3 - 3:30 p.m. Meet Your Admission Counselor & Closing Social
Stop by and meet your Admission Counselor as well as students, faculty and staff from around the campus. If you have any last minute questions to be answered this is the place to do it! See you there!
