Young scientists can have fun learning this summer during the Youth STEM camp scheduled Tuesday through Thursday, June 27-29. This camp is sponsored by the Frank H. Dotterweich College of Engineering at Texas A&M University-Kingsville and the Kingsville Elks Lodge. Registration will remain open until camp hits its capacity of 30 campers. The cost is $35. Lunch will be provided.

The STEM camp is for youth from five to 12. It is a science, technology, engineering and math-based camp. The first two days of camp will be held at the Elks Lodge, 1404 S. Sixth St. in Kingsville. The final day, June 29, will be held at Texas A&M-Kingsville, where students will test the egg protectors they create during the camp in an Egg Drop Competition on campus. Following the competition, campers will tour the College of Engineering.
