Female artists from South Texas will be honored in an exhibit at the Ben Bailey Art Gallery at Texas A&M University-Kingsville this month. Body of Work Exhibition: A Corpus of Figure Art features six female painters in honor of Women’s History Month.

The exhibit begins Monday, March 4, and continues through Wednesday, March 27. An artists’ reception will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 7, in the art gallery.

This exhibit is presented by the students in the Women in Arts course held during the fall 2012 semester. Dr. George Vargas was their instructor and advisor.
