Message from the Chair of Department
Warm welcome to the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department home page. The department serves nearly 400 students pursuing undergraduate programs in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering, both accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. In addition, it offers four master’s programs in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics and Autonomous Systems, Space and Aeronautical Engineering. In addition, participate in PhD in Engineering program, and also offer several certificate and minor programs. Our 100% Online Industrial Engineering Master of Science Program is one of a few programs that were ranked as one of the best Online Graduate Engineering Programs by U.S. News & World Report every year since it first released its inaugural set of Best Online Graduate Engineering Programs in 2012. Our service centric programs and several state-of-the-art facilities prepare the students to excel in internships, careers in public and private sectors, and academia.
