Industrial Technology & Industrial Management Scholarships

The Industrial Technology department currently awards the following scholarships to Industrial Management and Industrial Technology majors.

Alfred F. Gross Scholarship (Undergraduate) 

This is an endowed scholarship that provides money for students that are officially majoring in Industrial Management and Technology.  A scholarship in the amount of $250 will be awarded in the fall for two academic semesters. All the following information must be received at least a week before the beginning of the Fall Semester.

Eligibility

To be eligible to receive this scholarship a student must meet all of the following criteria.

  1. Have 15 or more hours of university work.

  2. Be currently enrolled in the College of Engineering as an Industrial Management and Technology major.

  3. Have a 3.5 grade point average or above.

Documents Required 

In order to be awarded this scholarship the student must submit all of the following information by the second week of the semester:

  1. Scholarship application form.

  2. Official transcript.

  3. One page paper stating the need for the scholarship and a list of extracurricular activities the applicant is involved in.

  4. List of financial aid and other scholarships that have previously been awarded.

 

Alfred F. Gross Scholarship (Graduate) 

This is an endowed scholarship that provides money for students that are officially majoring in Industrial Management.  A scholarship will be awarded for $1,000 ($500 for two semesters).   All the following information must be received at least a week before the beginning of the Fall Semester.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must meet three of the following criteria:

  1. Have three or more hours of university work.

  2. Be currently accepted in the College of Engineering as an Industrial Management Major or part of the early entry program during their senior year of ITEN studies.

  3. Must take Industrial Management coursework throughout the duration of the scholarship.

  4. Have a graduate grade point average of 3.25 or above (undergraduate GPA may be considered if student is new to graduate studies) OR student has met the GPA qualifications for early entry into graduate level coursework while holding senior level ITEN standing.

  1. Scholarship application form.
