Water Research Group
The Water Quality Group is responsible for conducting research and graduate education, for teaching graduate and undergraduate classes, for service to the national as well as the local community, and for interaction with professional peers in teaching and research. The group also carries out advanced research in oil spill bioremediation, design and planning in water resources and water management primarily related to Texas but also involving other areas of the country.
The Water Quality Group's vision is to provide leadership and coordination in the development of issues concerning the quality of surface-water and ground-water resources, and provide support in the application of techniques for the collection, analysis, and interpretation of water-quality data.
