Instruction to Complete and Submit Degree Plan
 
  All new degree plans submitted for approval need to follow course requirement.
 
  1. Get your EE graduate degree plan status.
  2. Download - (document unavailable contact the department for a copy) a blank EE graduate degree plan form if this is for your initial degree plan. Note: you MUST file your initial degree plan during the first semester of your enrollment into the program.
  3. For initial degree plan, fill the degree plan form downloaded and keep an electronic copy of the plan. Save your initial degree plan with the file name of “LASTNAME_degree_plan_0.doc”. For example, if your  last name is Adda, the required file name should be “Adda_degree_plan_0.doc”.

For any updates of your degree plan, make changes on  most recent version of your degree plan. Save the updated file in name of “LASTNAME_degree_plan_#.doc”. Here # is the version number of your degree plan. For example, if your last name is Adda and the name of your most recent previous degree plan is “Adda_degree_plan_0.doc”, the updated one should be saved as “Adda_degree_plan_1.doc”. If the file name of your most recent previous degree plan is “Adda_degree_plan_1.doc”, the updated one should be saved as “Adda_degree_plan_2.doc” and so on.

  1. Email the file of your new degree plan. The email subject must be matched with your degree plan file name such as Adda_degree_plan_#. Fill the names of your committee chair and members ONLY on electronic copy. Email the file of your new degree plan.   2. Make a hard copy of your new degree plan which is signed by your committee chair before bringing it to me for the signature.
  3. After getting all necessary signatures for your degree plan, you must make two hard copies of the degree plan and then send one copy to the department secretary and the other copy to the graduate school. Do not follow this will cause delay in future processing of your applications such as course registrations, extension letters, and thesis/project defense.
  4. Do not follow the above procedures appropriately may cause delay in processing your degree plan.
