Summary of CS Graduate Degree Plan
All comprehensive exams, once passed, have the five (5) years limitation on course credits as the only time constraint. All ”I” grades are good for one year.
A nationally standardized exam score must be satisfactorily completed and filed in the Graduate Office during the first nine (9) credit hours of graduate course work.
If changes or substitutions are made, we agree to send the Graduate Office a written request.
The student must file a signal initial degree plan with the College of Graduate Studies, through the graduate coordinator/advisor, by the time the student completes 12 semester hours of graduate course work. A final degree plan is not filed until all conditions have been removed. Forwarding the signed degree plan to the graduate dean denotes (1) the completion of requirements outlined on the Student’s Acceptance notice and (2) the student’s acceptance into degree status. A copy of the final degree plan with any revisions must also be forwarded to the graduate dean at the time of candidacy.
