Over the years, many institutions have implemented student success centers to not only institutionally track their students, but to ensure that their students obtain their academic goals in a timely and efficient manner.  The faculty and staff in Frank H. Dotterweich College of Engineering at Texas A&M-Kingsville also acknowledge that a center of this caliber will not only increase the number of incoming freshmen and transfer cohorts, but also increase retention rates while servicing other vital needs of the students as well.

The college has prided itself not only in its service to our students, but to the campus and surrounding community, and other relevant college stakeholders.  The needs of the students have changed, and so the college has also changed.  On September 1st, 2010, our college took that first step by taking a more hands-on approach in how we not only service our students, but our community as well.  It is our goal to create a one-stop-shop area to provide a more conducive area that will ensure the success of our students.

Best Wishes!
