B.S. in Kinesiology
(Sport & Leisure Studies)

This degree plan is chosen by students wishing to enter careers in youth work such as Boys & Girls Clubs, private sports instruction, civil service, or other professions where health, fitness and exercise knowledge are essential but do not require a teacher certification and the in-depth exercise science or business preparation offered by the other degree plans (e.g., camp counselor, firefighter, private tennis instructor, police officer, lifeguard, border patrol agent, etc.).  This degree plan provides students the flexibility of course selection to meet the preparatory demands of these career fields.
