Center for Applied Research and Entrepreneurship (CARE)

While research is the main focus of the EFCREO, education and outreach are also part of our framework. In partnership with the City of Kingsville, the Center for Applied Research and Entrepreneurship is a 28,000 square foot building which houses the EFCREO. The facility allows the EFCREO to generate, prototype and demonstrate cutiing-edge technologies to potential end users, along with hosting technical trainings and outreach activities through workshops, symposia and stakeholder meetings. This partnership allows the EFCREO to foster sustainable energy development in South Texas that will contribute to the regional economic development.
