Disability Resource Center
The Disability Resource Center recommends that faculty include on all syllabi a statement informing students with disabilities of their right to request accommodations in the classroom.
Texas A&M University – Kingsville Disability Resource Center (DRC) coordinates services to meet the educational needs of students with documented disabilities. DRC works with students and faculty to arrange reasonable accommodations and promote an environment that is free of physical barriers.
The DRC suggests the following statement:
Any student who feels s/he may need accommodations based on the impact of a disability should contact me privately to discuss your specific needs. You will also need to contact Disability Resource Center at 361-593-3024 located in the Student Health & Wellness Building, room 102 to meet with the DRC Coordinator and coordinate accommodations for any documented disability.
