This program is designed for those interested in entry level training for roustabout jobs in the natural gas drilling and production industry. Roustabouts prepare sites for natural gas well drilling, set-up and operate drilling rigs and dismantle for movement to another location.
Certifications included upon successful completion of the course:
PEC Safeland Basic Basic Rigging
Basic First Aid/CPR Defensive Driving
Aerial Work Platform Rough Terrain Forklift
This program is designed for those interested in entry level training for a Welder's Helper career in the natural gas drilling and production industry. Welder’s helpers prepare drilling sites and complete pipelines with certified welders. Typical assignments include preparation of the platform for drilling rigs, welding important components of the drilling rig and other equipment involved in producing a natural gas well and building natural gas pipelines.
Certifications included upon successful completion of the course include:
PEC Safeland Basic Defensive Driving
Basic First Aid/CPR Rough Terrain Forklift
Aerial Work Platform
Floor Hand Training
This program is designed to prepare those interested in entry level Floor Hand and Field Technician jobs in the natural gas drilling and production industry. The program certifies students to work on natural gas oil rigs and oil derricks and includes knowledge, skills, and certifications in safety, CPR, defensive driving, rig components, rigging systems, well control, hydraulics and basic electrical skills.
Aerial Work Platform Basic Rigging
This program is designed to prepare those interested in entry level Completion Technician careers. Completion Technicians perform general labor duties that support water transfer and preparation for fracing operations. They are responsible for constructing the spill containment berms for the well pad, preparing well pads for fracing and checking the integrity of the pads, gate, and fencing status around the water impoundments.
