This program is a professional development opportunity for advanced doctoral/masters degree students and Postdocs fellows, interested in pursuing a faculty position at a Research I and/or Comprehensive University; 2 or 4 year Colleges in the United States or Abroad. Introduction to the transformational way of aspiring faculty members preparing for their careers. Participants will have the opportunity to observe and experience faculty responsibilities at a variety of academic institutions with varying missions, diverse student bodies, and different expectations for faculty. Preparing Future Faculty (PFF) has three core features: the full scope of faculty roles and responsibilities; interactive and multiple mentor communication; which includes feedback for research activities including their teaching and service activities; and finally creates a cluster of evolving paradigm.

● Learning Module I: Getting Ready for College/University Faculty Position
● Learning Module II: Quantitative, Qualitative and Mixed Methods Research Software
● Professional Conference Presentations
● College Teaching Practicum Opportunities at TAMUK or nearby Community College
