Academic Prep Program


The Center for Continuing Education (CNED) brings college preparatory curricula to increase high school, middle school, and elementary schools' student success with post secondary education. Each program is geared towards a specific age group and interest. All programs:

  • Increase potential in excelling in state mandatory and college entry tests

  • Develop strategies for test taking and lower test anxiety

  • Help students gain confidence in a new academic year

Who can enroll?

Each program under the Academic Preparation category is geared towards specific age group(s) or grade(s) of participant(s) currently enrolled in the Independent School Districts.

How are the classes setup?

Participants will attend sessions at Texas A&M University-Kingsville campus in Cousins Hall and study the materials they will need in order to succeed.

What is the registration process?

All Pre-Registration and Registration is available online through our CNED website. If a parent/guardian or participant is unable to register online, you may stop by the Academics Office located in Cousins Hall, Room 206 (upstairs) or our Reception Office, Room 108 to complete a printed Pre-Registration and/or Registration form.
