Welcome to the Center for Continuing Education at Texas A&M University-Kingsville!

Our Center is here to provide non-credit courses to everyone on campus and in the community. Courses are offered in the following areas: business, trade and professional development; academic preparation; and personal enhancement. Classes are held on or off-campus or they are offered on-line, through interactive video or hybrid formats. Our Center provides Continuing Education Units (C.E.U.’s) to participants of seminars and workshops in education, engineering, business, environment, finance and other topics. “Proactive and Situational Leadership”, “Sustainability in Your Business”, and “Professional and Business Ethics” are some of the new workshops that we offer to businesses and other organizations in the community. We also work closely with the youth and children in the community through our academic and testing preparation programs, tutoring services and our “College for Kids” Program.

We are proud of our staff and instructors for making these diverse and quality programs possible.

Please explore our website and discover what our Center has to offer. We look forward to your collaboration and participation in our programs.

Sincerely,

Marilu Salazar

Director

The Center for Continuing Education's mission is to support the efforts of the university by serving members of the community through courses on professional and skill development, as well as personal enhancement courses to broaden the individual's social and soft skills. Other responsibilities of the Center include the issuing of Continuing Education Units (C.E.U.'s) to the business community along with academic and professional organizations through conferences, seminars and workshops.
The public services provided by The Center for Continuing Education (CNED) are educational experiences that are outside the scope of normal for-credit college courses.  These experiences are intended to meet specific needs within the larger community that includes, but is not limited to, members of the university community.
