Parking
As a component of the campus master plan, the university is engaging in a study to determine the supply and demand of safe campus parking. During the construction of the Student Recreation Sports Center and New Housing Complex, the University realizes that the number of parking spaces and their locations will make a big difference in the convenience and safety of faculty, staff and students.
Plans are underway for additional paving at Lot G (Javelina Stadium lot), which will add about 270 spaces. The project will include a semi-circular area that will enhance the lot for tailgating during football season.
There also are plans to pave Lot L (by Lynch Hall) and additional lots may be added at a later date.
