Constitution Day

On December 8, 20014 (Public Law 108-447) President George W. Bush signed a bill designated each September 17 as Constitution Day. Each institution of higher education receiving federal funding must prepare a program to inform students about the U.S. Constitution.

TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY-KINGSVILLE

At TAMUK, the celebration of Constitution Day is a collaborative effort between the American Democracy Project, a recognized student organization, the Department of History and Political Science, and the Office of Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, and University Administration.

2017 CONSTITUTION DAY EVENT

Constitution Day is Sunday, September 17, 2017
Constitution Day will be recognized by Texas A&M University-Kingsville on Monday, September 18, 2017.
Events will be announced at a later date
