Gifts to the President’s Circle are particularly important because they provide resources for numerous needs at the university for which no other funds are available. These funds have been used to support the president’s initiatives, and they have helped us address the needs of our students and faculty.

President’s Circle funds have been designated for student scholarships, including those for students working toward pre-professional degrees and degrees in music. In addition, we received a gift of $75,000 from the STARS program with the condition that we match it through newly raised funds. Part of our match came from President’s Circle funds.

Resources also have been allocated to support our faculty, and we remain dedicated to providing assistance for faculty research and development opportunities. Our faculty provide a challenging, productive learning environment and serve as mentors to our students, and we are committed to helping them enhance their own research and scholarly activities.

What is the benefit of unrestricted gifts?

Tuition and appropriations from the state budget provide a portion of the operating budget at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, but we always have needs that simply cannot be met through these sources alone. Gifts to the President’s Circle help meet academic needs that would otherwise go unmet, and they help Texas A&M-Kingsville maintain its edge in higher education in South Texas.

Please note: Gifts for specific scholarships are not eligible for President’s Circle membership.

How will my gift be used?

All gifts to the President’s Circle are unrestricted; your unrestricted gift to Texas A&M-Kingsville may be used wherever the need is greatest. By becoming a member of the President’s Circle, you are contributing directly to the future of our students and the quality of our faculty.
