Past Research: Protein spectroscopy/computer modeling, supersonic beam spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy of biopolymers.

Current Research: Characterizations of proteins in venom.

Best Advice Ever Received: Be true to yourself.

Hobbies: Birdwatching, duplicate bridge, bicycling (slowly).

What Influenced you to study Chemistry: Good teachers in science and math, rationality of chemistry while retaining read-world applications, and fellow students in high school and college.
