Racquetball
I LOVE this game. No doubt, racquetball is one of the best forms of exercise in the shortest period of time! This activity is enjoyed year around.

Basketball

A cross section of the residents from all walks of life in the Kingsville community have held a "noon" basketball game every Tuesday and Thursday (including holidays) since the late '60's (often called the "Nooners")! Regular participants expect you to be there and seldom do I miss the fellowship and exercise.

Hiking

Summer leisure activites occur outdoors, frequently hiking the trails and enjoying the rarified air of the Rocky Mountains.  To date, I have reached the summit of 16 "fourteeners" in central Colorado and a number of "thirteeners".

This peak at 13,711 ft.  near Independence Pass, Colorado was climbed in August, 2001.

Jo (myself) of Kingsville, Texas, Russell of Omaha, Nebraska, and Eldon of Florissant, Missouri.

Right:  Enjoying the completion of a Colorado hike to the top of Mt. Princeton (14,196 ft) are sons, Kyle (back) and Greg (center), daughter-in-law, Joanna, and myself.

Golf

The game of golf is perhaps one of my most frustrating activities and, consequently, least enjoyable. If it weren't for my sons' love of golf, the clubs would have succumbed to rust long ago. But, admittedly, I do enjoy an occasional round with family and friends.

Family

Two very handsome young men:  Kyle (front), currently an assistant professor of chemistry at the University of Texas-Permian Basin, and Greg, currently an Assistant Golf Pro at the Midland Country Club, Midland, TX.  A father could not be more proud!

The aspens of Colorado in September paint a telling picture of the beauty of nature!
