Javelina Research Symposium

Papers must be submitted by September 31st

Student researchers are invited to show off their hard work at the 3rd Annual Javelina Research Symposium on October 18, 2012 at the Memorial Student Union Building ballrooms.

Presentations may reflect completed or on-going research projects, and must be original in nature. Students may indicate a preference for oral or poster presentation format.

The Javelina Research Symposium is funded through the Promoting Post-Baccalaureate Opportunities for Hispanic Americans (PPOHA) Title V grant program, “Strengthening Graduate Education at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.”

The Javelina Research Symposium seeks to promote the excellent student research on our campus. It also gives our students an opportunity to hone their presentation skills, and finally, it seeks to help our graduates become more successful as they leave campus and move into the workforce.

Students interested in applying for the Javelina Research Symposium can find the application here: (Application will become available September 17th.)

Applications may be submitted to James.Remelius@tamuk.edu or by visiting office 125 in Eckhardt Hall.
