Researching Grant Opportunities

Faculty members within the College of Arts and Sciences can contact Rebecca West to receive assistance in researching funding opportunities that best fit the needs of their desired research or projects.

Developing Grant Proposals / Budgets

Some grant proposal submission processes are fairly simple, whereas others can be very complicated, depending on the funding agency.  The majority of grant proposals submitted to federal agencies now require electronic submission, and becoming familiar with this process can be difficult.  However, the Program Development and Information Coordinator can assist faculty in getting set up to apply for grants electronically, as well as completing all documents required by both the funding agency and Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

Preparing Grant Proposals for Submission

When a grant proposal is in its final stages and all required forms are complete, the proposal will be directed to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs for submission.  Please see the following links:

Post-Award and Contract Procedures

Once a grant is funded, the Office of Grants and Contracts will assist the faculty member serving as the Principal Investigator in executing the contract and establishing the appropriate account(s).

Faculty within the College of Arts and Sciences are asked to contact Rebecca West with any questions regarding the planning, preparation, or post-award procedures for all grant proposals.
