Texas A&M University-Kingsville

A Message from the Chair:

Hello Texas A&M-Kingsville Music Community,

We are very excited to announce that the Texas A&M-Kingsville Music Department will be getting a new music building.  The Texas Legislature and the Governor recently approved the Tuition Revenue Bonds to allow for several construction projects across the state, and our music building is one of them!

As most of you know, we have been waiting for this day for a very long time.  The Music Department wants to thank our friends, students, faculty, alumni,  administration, and state legislators for their support in helping to make new music  facilities a reality for our campus.  We especially want to recognize the tireless efforts of our president, Dr. Steven Tallant, who worked very hard to secure funding for these facilities.

We have already begun the planning process and eagerly anticipate the day when we will be able to move into our new building.  Please check back regularly to our website as we will keep you informed of our progress as we begin this exciting new chapter in our music department’s history.  Please know that our students, faculty, and alumni will finally get the great music facilities that they deserve and have earned.  We will continue to provide our students with the best music education possible, and these new facilities will help us to take our goals and aspirations to even new heights.  It is a great time to be member of Javelina Nation!

Warmest Regards,
Paul Hageman, Chair
Texas A&M-Kingsville Music Department
