Texas A&M University-Kingsville

Bachelor of Arts in English with Certification

Freshman and sophomore English majors see university advisors to create their schedules for classes.

Junior and Senior Secondary Education majors will see Education faculty advisors to get advised. Second-semester juniors should enroll for ENGL 4114, Senior Portfolio, which is a requirement to graduate. Through the portfolio course, you will have the chance to present a professional-style conference paper.

Seniors who are preparing to graduate need to schedule a degree audit through the college of Arts and Sciences to ensure that all requirements are met before graduating.

Please see the Chair of the Department or a faculty advisor for additional questions you may have about required courses.
