If you are a May 2018 Graduate…

DEADLINE FOR MAY 2018 APPLICATIONS IS DECEMBER 1, 2017

1. Beginning October 2, 2017, use the Blue & Gold Connection to fill out and submit the online application for graduation. For a step-by-step reference guide, please click hereYour application will be reviewed and processed in the order in which it is received. This may mean that your application may not be processed before your Priority Registration date. You should still register for courses when your date arrives. Your hold should be lifted by your previous advisor. You can always make changes to your schedule, if needed, after your application has been processed.

2. Once the review of your application is complete, you will receive an email confirmation (at your student email address).

  • If you are approved, you will receive an additional email (at your student email address) with further instructions for graduation and a list of courses that you must be enrolled in for the Spring 2018 semester. The list of courses you receive is equivalent to and will take the place of a traditional advising session. An in-person advising session is not required.
  • If you are denied, you will receive an email (at your student email address) with the reason for denial and a list of the remaining courses you will need to register for and complete in order to graduate. The list of courses you receive is equivalent to and will take the place of a traditional advising session. An in-person advising session is not required.

If you are an August 2018 Graduate…

1. Email coas@tamuk.edu to request a degree audit review. Please include all of the following information in your email:

  • Full Name
  • K number
  • Major(s)
  • Minor(s)
  • Anticipated graduation date (month and year)
  • A telephone number at which you can be easily reached, if need be
  • The name of your previous advisor

Your request will be processed in the order in which it is received. This may mean that your request may not be processed before your Priority Registration date.
