What is the Annual Fund?
It is one of the best ways to support student education, staff/faculty development, and more at Texas A&M University-Kingsville on an annual basis. Many Javelina supporters give unrestricted dollars to the Annual Fund each year to assist the ever-growing need for additional monies to help with student scholarship, departmental development, technological advancements, and so much more! As the state squeezes the belt tighter each year for operating budget funds they provide state schools our need for private funding and gifts to the Annual Fund increase. So join us, help us meet the needs of a thriving campus and growing student population.
Why Contribute?
The stronger the A&M-Kingsville Annual Fund, the better equipped the university is to provide an excellent educational environment for students and to address our most urgent needs. There are 7,000 Javelina students, and growing, who could use your help!

- Your generosity enables current students to receive a learning experience of the highest quality, with great class ratios and personalized attention.
- Every year, corporations, foundations and government agencies give large funding grants to colleges and universities. When they award these grants, they look at how many alumni and friends support, not how much they give. Participation in the Annual Fund is seen as an indicator of satisfaction in the education received. Even a modest gift will increase participation rates and could help the university receive millions of dollars!
- Many students, alumni, and friends do not realize that the State of Texas provides less than 48% the cost of an education at A&M-Kingsville. The remaining is funded through tuition, grants and private donations efforts – such as to the Annual Fund.
- If you are an alumnus, giving to the university’s Annual Fund provides a unique benefit. With increased alumni participation, the university rankings are increased – therefore increasing the value of the degree you currently hold.
