Texas A&M-Kingsville Announces Changes To Summer II Academic Calendar for Kingsville Campus

Due to the cancellation of classes July 23-25 because of Hurricane Dolly, the Kingsville campus of Texas A&M-Kingsville will observe the following academic class schedule for Summer II:

Classes will be held Friday, Aug. 1 (make-up); Monday, Aug. 4 (regularly scheduled class); Tuesday, Aug. 5 (make-up); and Wednesday, Aug. 6 (make-up and last class day).

Thursday, Aug. 7 – Final exams for students graduating Aug. 9.

Thursday, Aug. 7 – Study Day for students not graduating on Aug. 9.

Friday, Aug. 8 – Final exams held during regular class time for students not graduating on Aug. 9.

Tuesday, Aug. 12 – Grades due for all students at both campuses in Kingsville and at the System Center-San Antonio.

University Begins Summer Hours

The university will implement a 4½-day summer workweek beginning Monday, May 19, and continuing through Friday, August 15. Working hours will be Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Classes will meet Monday through Thursday only. Saturday and evening classes will meet as scheduled.
