Scott Gines

The Division of Institutional Advancement at Texas A&M University-Kingsville is comprised of several departments that serve as the university’s official liaison to its internal and external audiences. Departments under institutional advancement include alumni-development, athletics, development, institutional research and marketing and communications. The division strives to promote the university, provide institutional data to internal and external entities, increase private funding for the university and its programs and serve as a liaison for former students.

Alumni-Development

The Office of Development-Alumni is charged with securing funds for scholarships, the A&M-Kingsville Foundation and many other projects requiring monies not allocated by the state of Texas. Development-Alumni is also responsible for maintaining friendly communication with former students of the university.

Marketing and Communications

The Office of Marketing & Communications advances the mission of the university through strategically targeted communications and publications and constituent relations. The office is the university's official liaison with the news media, targeted constituent groups and the general public. Additionally, the office is responsible for maintaining a uniform graphic identity that is consistent with the university's mission and goals.
