Private Scholarships
In addition to University Scholarships, many of our students receive scholarships from outside sources. Though extra work is required, the reward can be significant. It is recommended that students search for these scholarships throughout their entire academic career. Texas A&M University-Kingsville annually audits this list of scholarships; however, we can't guarantee the award amounts or award eligibility.

American Legion Scholarships
Child/Children, or legally adopted child/children, of active duty United States military and Guard, and Reserve personnel who were federalized and died on active duty on or after September 11, 2001. Must be a high school senior or high school graduate to apply for the scholarship. Scholarship is for undergraduate study at a U.S. school of higher education.
American Chemical Society Scholarships

American Architectural Foundation (AAF)-Minority/Disadvantaged Scholarship
The American Architectural Foundation awards scholarships to minority or disadvantaged high school seniors and college freshmen who plan to study architecture in an NAAB-accredited program. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $2,500.
