Dual Enrollment Admission Requirements

Juniors and Seniors may become eligible based on their 10th or 11th Grade TAKS scores or one of the other tests listed below along with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 (based on a 4.0 system). They must pass the section of the TAKS that corresponds to the course for which they would like to enroll. Freshmen and Sophomore are not eligible to participate in the Dual Enrollment Program.

Testing Requirements

Students may qualify for academic courses (i.e. English, History, Government, Art,  etc.) based on one of the following test scores:

TAKS – Language (2200), Writing (3), Math (2200)

THEA – Reading (230), Writing (220), Math (230)

ACCUPLACER – Reading (78), Writing (6), Math (63)

ACT – Composite (23), Reading (19), Writing (19), Math (19)

SAT – Composite (1070) Verbal (500), Math (500)

ASSET – Reading (41), Writing (6), Math (38)
