Tom Best


President/Partner of Premier Vacuum Service, Inc.

Tom Best is an accomplished business professional with more than 34 years of first-hand experience in business development, project management, leadership, operations and logistics. He received his bachelor of business administration from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 1979. While earning his degree, Best worked for Steve’s Oil Field Services, Inc. where he successfully passed three levels of management hierarchy to obtain the position of Vice President of Finance. He sold the company in 1991. 

In 2001, he became co-owner of Premier Vacuum Service, Inc. while simultaneously serving at Basic Energy Services. In 2005, he sold the assets to Basic Energy Services to focus completely as Vice President in the South Texas division, but kept the corporation intact. In this roll Best provided human resource management for more than 450 employees, managed an operational budget of approximately $100 million and retired in 2007. In 2010 he began TBGH Investments, LTD, a real estate investment company. In 2011, he restarted Premier Vacuum Service, Inc. His current operation includes 24 transports.

He is a member of the business advisory board for the Texas A&M University-Kingsville College of Business Administration. He also serves on the board of directors for 1st Community Bank in Corpus Christi, Texas, Cactus Bowl and Epiphany Episcopal School and a trustee of First Baptist Church.
