N. Delcoure

Texas A&M University-Kingsville College of Business Administration has been educating students and creating business leaders since 1925. Education is at the heart of the College of Business Administration mission. We provide a comprehensive, accessible, quality business education to emerging leaders of the region, the state of Texas, national and international communities.

Our students commit themselves to academic rigor in achieving their business education. We enhance their experience through value-added extracurricular opportunities; expanded offerings in international education, leadership and teamwork; and an extensive and well-rounded program of professional skills training. The College of Business Administration is creating many points of distinction that provide a place for students to belong and build on their strengths, capture their imagination and integrate experiential learning into academic curricula from day one.  We are proud of our student’s success stories, and build on their accomplishments through new programs and experiences. Set to open in fall 2017, the Interactive Learning Lab provides a state-of-the-art classroom designed for students, faculty and alumni and allows comfortable transition between lecturer-style presentations and small-team projects, to maximize teaching and learning.

We capitalize on the relationships we have developed with the business community by bringing the right people to the table to leverage the academic strength of the college with the knowledge, expertise and experience of business; to collaborate in solving problems; to explore competitive issues; and to facilitate knowledge partnerships. Several key College of Business Administration initiatives are coming to fruition and it is exciting to be alongside our constituents as each unfolds.

World-class faculty members bring their passion for teaching and scholarship to their work. They continue to elevate the college and university with their research contributions. They value inquisitiveness, new ideas, innovations, rigor and critical thinking. They challenge themselves and others to take risks, to disagree, to debate, to grow. Our faculty members are an accepting and supportive community of learners who strive for excellence and invest in each other's success.

The Texas A&M University-Kingsville Foundation team has been hard at work, and has exceeded the $750,000 campaign goal to fund the first College of Business Administration Endowed Chair. The Chair will be named after Ralph C. Russell, Professor of Accounting, whose influence in the college is still felt to this day, as many of the business, finance and accounting graduates that he mentored have gone on to become Distinguished Alumni, Trustees and Board members.

It has been a true joy to join forces with faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends in building a strong and vibrant College of Business Administration that serves our constituents well. I remain excited and invigorated by not only what we have achieved together, but also optimistic about what we will accomplish together in years to come.
